In October 1960, Alaf was founded with the primary objective of establishing the ‘Aluminium and Steel Industrial Complex’ in Tanzania. Since then, ALAF (previously known as Aluminium Africa Limited) has emerged as a top producer of steel roofing and related items in the country. In the past year, the company opted to modernize and improve their plant in Dar es Salaam. Satva was selected to undertake the repair and refurbishment of the concrete structures within their pipes and tubes manufacturing unit. Our technical team kept a close eye at evert stage of the restoration project – from surface preparation, protecting the corroded reinforcement bars, repairing concrete to application of levelling plaster.
