Al Muntazir Girl’s Secondary School

The structures constructed in Tanzania more than three decades ago were not engineered to withstand the adverse effects of climate change. Consequently, they are unable to effectively manage the substantial volumes of water brought by the intense rainfall in Dar. During the rainy season of October 2022, Al Muntazir school urgently sought assistance as the roofs above their classrooms allowed water to infiltrate the learning spaces. Satva promptly addressed the issue by repairing and restoring the roof, and implementing a flexible waterproofing solution that can withstand the harsh UV rays and effectively prevent water from seeping into the underlying concrete.
